Additional Information on District Realignments - On August 26, the West Central Florida Council Executive Committee approved a district realignment for the council. The four districts that have existed since 1998 will be realigned to form three similar-sized districts.

Youth safety is the No. 1 concern of the BSA.  To increase awareness of this societal problem and to create even greater barriers to abuse than already exist today in Scouting, the Boy Scouts of America is implementing several important changes to further enhance its Youth Protection policies.  Please see the information sheet for steps to ensure these policies are fully implemented.

Please keep in mind that you can now sign up and pay for activities, training and other events on this website.  You can also make a new donation or payment on your current FOS pledge using a credit card or e-check by clicking the "Contribute to Friends of Scouting" link on the menu bar.

Our calendar feature includes specific calendars for each district.  Just click CALENDAR on the menu and the council calendar will be displayed.  To select a specific district or combination of districts and council, click "Select Other Calendars" located in the top left hand corner of the calendar, right below "Show Activities For: West Central Florida Council".  Check your district and council calendars for any upcoming training or activity information.
